For over three years, Immerse Education has proudly partnered with the British-Georgian Academy (BGA) and the British International School of Tbilisi (BIS) to deliver academically rigorous and future-focused enrichment opportunities for students aged 13–18. This multi-layered collaboration includes international essay competitions, year-round enrichment events, significant scholarship opportunities, and—most recently—a tailored summer programme developed in close consultation with the schools' academic leaders.

The partnership is a powerful example of how Immerse works closely with school communities to meet specific enrichment and progression goals, delivering impact year after year.

Pathways to Opportunity

Students from BGA and BIS regularly take part in Immerse Education’s global essay competitions, gaining international recognition and access to scholarship opportunities. Through these routes, students have secured places at prestigious residential summer programmes in the UK, engaging in undergraduate-style teaching and expanding their academic confidence and global outlook.

Throughout the year, students also benefit from online and in-person enrichment events, including webinars on emerging academic trends and university admissions guidance led by Immerse Education's expert tutors and admissions specialists.

Tailored Summer Programme: 2025 Launch

In July 2025, Immerse Education will welcome two cohorts of students from the British-Georgian Academy and the British International School of Tbilisi to a bespoke two-week residential programme in Cambridge. This immersive academic experience has been designed in close collaboration with the schools to reflect their specific academic goals and the aspirations of their students.

The programme will focus on Business Management, Leadership and Entrepreneurship, delivered by expert tutors from the University of Cambridge. Students will participate in engaging subject-focused sessions and a structured business challenge designed to build practical skills and problem-solving confidence. They will also take part in career-focused workshops and university preparation seminars, offering valuable insights into higher education pathways and professional development.

The academic programme is enriched by guest lectures and curated visits to industry-leading organisations, giving students direct exposure to the world of work. These experiences are complemented by traditional Cambridge cultural activities, including punting on the River Cam and formal college dinners. Students will be supported throughout by dedicated personal development tutors, ensuring both academic progression and individual growth.

Living and studying in the heart of Cambridge, participants will gain a meaningful insight into life at a world-renowned university. They will also develop critical communication, collaboration and leadership skills, preparing them to thrive in academic and professional settings beyond school.
